Weed smokers all know that one horrible feeling nobody wants to experience. This is when you're "too high" and panic starts to set in. This is a horrible feeling that feels like you can't escape. Don't worry, these tricks will give you and hand getting out of that panic.

How Can You Sober Up From Weed?

When determining how long it'll take for you to sober up depends on a few different factors.

  • How often you smoke
  • How much did you consumed
  • How did you consume it (Inhale or edible)

Usually, the THC% will show you how high you could potentially get. 20%-50% will be different from 70%-90%. This means when smoking dab/dab pens will probably get you higher than smoking a bowl, but again everyone different.

So What Can I Do To Sober Up Quicker?

First off, try your best to not panic. It's easier said than done, but getting yourself going and more panicked will start to make you sick and possibly faint. Think about something not to do with smoking "Your happy place". Remember there's never been a THC/Weed overdose. TO do so you'll need to smoke a LOT like smoking a whole ounce by yourself, but even then it wouldn't kill you.

Try getting some water and a light snack. The snack will sort of soak up the THC, not literally but it'll defiantly help you cut down your high. Water is always very important. Drink a good amount of water. This will also sort of flush the high out. Try to not eat anything sugary. Fruits, crackers, bread, anything.

Next, You should really know your limits before consuming a drug. When you happen to go overboard, it's okay we've all done it. Don't try to impress friends or the girl you like by smoking more than you're comfortable with, it'll backfire and ruin your night. Start with smaller doses and remember to pay attention to the THC%. 

This one a trick people have found to cut their bad highs. Black Pepper. It sounds strange but sniffing (not snorting) or eating a peppercorn has been known to help to lower your high.

Another method is doing something else to try and clear your head and move your body. Going for walks or taking a shower can help ease your mind. Cool air can really help calm you. Sounds odd, but putting your head in your fridge freezer can help sometimes. When you panic and freak out your going to start feeling hot from your heart racing. Taking deep breaths of that cool air and taking a layer of clothing off can significantly help.

The last option is to distract yourself in any way possible.

  • Call a friend
  • Make some food
  • Play with your pet 
  • Listen to music 
  • play video games

Getting your mind off of what's going on is how you're going to get over that dreadful high. Always remember that you're going to be okay and it's just temporary. Usual highs last 1-3 hours. Power through and learn from the experience to not get yourself like that again.
